Appearing for the first time in 1966, 70B Ford Grit Spreader has a short box history in terms of major variation but has lots of minor ones. Starting with a NEW MODEL E2 box showing the moving part on end flaps, the E boxes are ones of the rare boxes that show an additional read view of the model in action with extra artwork.
The E boxes comprise of E2 without NEW MODEL, E3 and E4 sub-types.
The F2 box with “ALP” bottom lettering came with two different end flap closers configurations.
With the NEW MODEL being the less common, all other boxes for this model are very easy to find.
