GENERAL INFO
To replace the long lasting 68A, Lesney came up with this Mercedes Coach that was first released in turquoise color. To go with it, the first box, an E1 sub type, shows the model in green which is somewhat close enough to turquoise. The first two variation have both top and bottom in blue while the last one was light blue. Only the very first box shows “NEW MODEL” on the end flaps.
The box, just like the model, switched to orange and was made available in E3, E4 and E4R boxes.
The F box still shows the model in orange and was made available with bottom lettering “ALP” and “MRT2”. Both are F2 sub-type.
All boxes for 68B are in size 5.
RARITY
The “MRT2” F2 box is harder to find. The NEW MODEL in green box is also an interesting one to own, although it is not very difficult to get.
