The 66B Harley-Davidson was on the market for only 4 years before being replaced by the Greyhound bus. The model fell short to be released in E box type, even though the box was implemented before it disappeared from production.
The model was therefore released in only two major variations: D1 and D2. The very first has the “NEW MODEL” and there is also a D1 box without it.
An interesting fact about the D2 box is that the word “Motorcycle” on the end flap does not have the “-“ between “MOTOR” and “CYCLE” like the D1 boxes have!
The other interesting fact is that the model on the picture is blue, which is thought to be a pre-production color, the common one being metal bronze.
There is no particular rare variation for this model’ boxes. The NEW MODEL one is however scarcer.
