GENERAL INFO
The 62C Cougar offers very little for box collectors, as only two variations are known to exist. The first one is a E4R box showing the model in its rarest color: pale yellow. The early Auto Steer logo is also shown on the faces. The interior of the car is red. The end flaps show the white stripe, as 62C is one of the five models to have this feature along with 8E, 25D, 33C and 55D. There is no variation of the box without the white stripe, unlike 33C.
The F box show the model in its common green color and red interior. The F1 box, with “ALP” bottom lettering, also sports the “PO” on end flap closers. The late Auto Steer logo completes the box.
RARITY
Although both boxes are common, more E boxes can be found than F ones.
