To replace the 59B Fairlane Fire Chief, Lesney came up with the Ford Galaxie Fire chief, using the same model as 55C Galaxie Police Car. This 1996 release first came in a NEW MODEL E3 box, showing the model in red with its usual labels and blue dome light. Another E3 box exists without the NEW MODEL on end flaps. The same picture would also be used for E4 and E4R boxes as well.
The F2 box shows the same kind of picture. The “ALP” box came with two different End Flap Closers configurations : blank and with “TM”.
The Superfast version of this model would also be packaged in a transitional F box.
Each box of this model came in size 5.
The F box is the less common of boxes for this model, followed by the NEW MODEL E3 box.
