GENERAL INFO

Released in 1958, the 57A Wolseley 1500 was one of the last models to be packaged in a size 2 box, along with 59A and 60A. This size 2 box was of course the first box in  which the model was delivered in, and it was a B3 sub-type. Soon enough, a size 3 B3 box with blue rectangle was released. Both boxes show the model in red with yellow wheels and a light background. A B4 box was later made, essentially consisting of the same picture. The last box made, also a B4 box, has the model to the left of picture with front bumper very close to the scroll. Model numbers are also farther from the scroll.

No B5 box was ever released for the 57A.

RARITY

The small box, as well as the late B4 box are a bit less common.
