In July 1965, the 56A Trolley Bus was discontinued and left the number 56 to the Fiat 1500. The small green car was released in a size 3 E2 box, first with NEW MODEL on end flaps, then without it. The model is shown in dark green. As the E3 box was released, the same picture showed the model in its lighter turquoise/green color. This illustration would also remain for the E3R and E4R boxes.
The F box is a F3 sub type, which was only used for this model and the 39C. It was a short run, as the 56A Pininfarina with Superfast wheels would soon replace the 56A in the Lesney miniature range also using an F box.
NEW MODEL box in dark green is interesting although not so rare. But the F box is definitely harder to come by than any E boxes. Nevertheless, it is only scarcer and should be considered a rare box.
