GENERAL INFO

To replace the 48A, Lesney came up with a second boat. A bit more colorful model, maybe Lesney wanted colors on their boxes to be original too, as the first C box made in 1961 showed a boat fully in red, then in yellow with a red stripe! Both boxes have the mention NEW MODEL on the end flaps.

The D boxes show the blue trailer and boat with white deck and red hull.

All boxes were size 3.

RARITY

The C boxes are definitely the most desirable boxes to have. D boxes are common, especially the D one.
