GENERAL INFO

The 44A Rolls-Royce Silver Cloud is rich in different variations, having six major ones and eight in all. Issued in 1958 in a B2, size 3 box with blue rectangle, it shows the model with a light background and yellow wheels. One side is slightly different, having the right number a bit to the right. It was also released in a B3 box. Same thing happened again with the next major variation, being released in B4/B5 boxes, but the background is darker. Then another new variation, only available in B5 sub-type came along, but with a smaller model and no background. This variation also has different sides. This variation would then be used for the C type box as well. Note that the late B5 and C boxes have the Silver Cloud between “ “, which was not the case with previous boxes.

Finally, the 44A was done in D1 and D2 boxes, showing the blue model with silver wheels.

All boxes are size 3.

RARITY

C and D boxes are most probably the most desirable boxes, although no exceptionally rare.
