GENERAL INFO

Despite having 7 different variations, boxes for 41C have in reality only two different major ones. The first, distributed in E boxes starting with a NEW MODEL E2 one, shows the model in white with yellow hubs on black tires. Tit was followed by an E2 without NEW MODEL, then came E3, E4 and E4R boxes. Interesting fact about the E4R variation seems to often (always??) have one side where all the red printing (‘Matchbox’, ‘Series’ and the usual small writing on top and bottom of the box), slightly upwards on one side.

The F box sees the model facing left instead of right but is essentially very similar to the E box. However, the model, like on many F box, appears a bit longer! The box only appeared with the “ALP” bottom lettering and has blank end flap closers.
 

RARITY

The F box is rarer than the E box. The new model is a good one to own. None of those are really scarce.
