In May 1967, the 39C Ford Tractor took over the 39B Pontiac Convertible. The first box used was a E4 NEW MODEL package, showing the blue and yellow model with black tires and yellow hubs. The box was also made available later without the NEW MODEL. It was finally made in the E4R sub-type.
The 39C is one of the rare models to be made available in F3 type box. The same model as the E type boxes is depicted. The bottom lettering is either “ALP” or “LPC”. The latter has two different end flap closer configurations: blank or with “TM”. The ALP only has blank end flap closers.
F boxes are less common, but not rare.
