GENERAL INFO

35A Marshall Horse Box is another model that has many different major box variations. When released in 1957, it made its debut in a size 2 box, first in B2, then B3 sub-types. The picture shows a large depiction of the model and a light background. The second B3 box used a different drawing, still in size 2, but fitted on a size 3 box, which of course explains the use of the blue rectangle. The drawing is different, as the model is smaller. The numbers area also larger.

The first B4 reused the drawing on the size 2 box, but the picture is extended to fit a size 3. Then another major variation followed and this time, the drawing is small, yet bigger than the one shown on the large B3 box. This variation was also used in B5 style. Each B box end flaps reads Horse Box.

Two different C boxes were made. The first one uses a new drawing that is very similar to the first B4, but the model seems just a tiny bit higher in the picture. The second is similar to the picture used for the B5 box. The numbers, however, are a bit further from the model.

D boxes show a very nice picture of the model, with silver wheels. Only one variation of each D1 and D2 boxes exists.

RARITY

The blue rectangle B3 box seems a bit less common for this model, although box rarity for this model is hard to tell, given the high number available.
