To replace the 33B Zephyr, Lesney opted for a very different kind of car. The spectacular 33C Lamborghini Miura appeared in August of 1968 in an E4R box with NEW MODEL on end flaps. It also features the “white line” like would also do 8E, 25D, 55D and 62C. However, a version without the white line exists, making the case of the 33C unique!
F boxes would also be special for the 33C. The first F2 box shows the usual AutoSteer logo but on the second version, the logo has been taken out. The top and bottom illustration are also different on those two boxes.
The end flap closers have “TM” and “PO” in both cases. Only “ALP” bottom letterings were used for the 33C.
All the boxes for this model are size 3.
The E4R box without the white line is hard to find. The F box without auto-steer is scarce.
