GENERAL INFO

Replacing the 32A Jaguar with another Jaguar in September 1962 offered collectors a very nice model in the 32B E-Type. The illustration used on D boxes shows the red model with wire wheels and black tires, and clear windows. First released in a D1 NEW MODEL box, then another one without it, it was also available in D2 sub type using 3 different top/bottom colors.

The E Box shows what appears to be gray tires, on an otherwise similar model than the used on the D boxes. It was released in both E3 and E4 boxes.

All seven variation of the 32B were made in size 3 boxes.

RARITY

E boxes are harder to find than D boxes, with probably the exception of the NEW MODEL D box which is, like many “NEW MODEL” boxes, scarcer. It’s debatable which one from the E3 and E4 box is harder to find, but it seems the E3 one is the less common.
