GENERAL INFO
The 31A Ford Station Wagon was released in 1957. Its first major variation, available in B2 and B3 sub-types, had a different front and back. On one side, the left number goes almost entirely over the scroll while on the other side, only the “1” is over it. As the picture used is of size 2, there is the blue rectangle surrounding it. The picture itself shows the model in red with yellow wheels.
Two B4 boxes were also made. One is showing a model a little different from other 31A boxes, as it seems a bit larger and the front inside fender is yellow. The numbers are closer to the model. The other B4 box has the usual model illustration seen on B2 and B3 boxes and numbers are away from the model especially the left one. Interesting are the end flaps, as the first B4 box has regular letters and the second, all capital letters.
Each 31A box is a size 3.
RARITY
None of the box for this model is known to be specially hard to find.
