The 28C Jaguar is a very interesting model, since it only came in E boxes but still has 3 very distinctive major variations.
The first has the “yellow target”, showing suspension and opening bonnet. This variation also comes with the “NEW MODEL” on the end flap, which states “MARK TEN JAGUAR” as opposed to “JAGUAR MARK TEN”.
Soon after, a “white target” replaced the first variation and the “NEW MODEL” disappeared. This box offers three different top/bottom combinations.
In these two cases, where only E1 sub-type was used, it is also obvious to mention that the model is depicted in a pre-production blue color.
Finally, the very last variation shows the model in its usual brown color, in an E3 sub-type. The 28D Mack Truck took over before an E4 box can be released.
Boxes for the 28D are not rare or even scarce. The “MRT1” bottom lettering on the late F box could reveal to be harder to find, however.
