GENERAL INFO

The 27D Mercedes 230 SL took over from the Cadillac Sixty Special in March of 1966. Entering the range with a NEW MODEL E3 box, it shows the model in white, with a red interior and black wheels. The E3 box is also available without the NEW MODEL mention. The same major variation is also easily found in E4 and E4R boxes.

The is only one variation of the F2 box, with ALP bottom lettering and “TM/PO* end flap closers.

RARITY

The F2 box is definitely the least common box for this model.
