Released in May 1968, just in time to have an E box, the 25D Cortina was packaged first in an E4R NEW MODEL box, with white stripe on the end flaps. The sides show the auto-steer feature, and the model is brown with the passenger door open.
An F2 box soon took over, with the Auto-Steer logo and the model slightly turned to its left, compared with the E box. The F2 box was available with “ALP” bottom lettering and two different end flap closers : “PO” only and “TM”/”PO”.
All boxes were in size 5.
The E box is very common, and the F boxes, a little less. But all are not hard to find at all.
