GENERAL INFO

The 24A has interesting boxes that show the model in different perspectives. The first box, released in 1956, is a size 2 B1 showing a very small depiction of the model. The model, in fact, does not really look like the drawing and that is probably why a second variation came soon after, where the model can be seen larger. This major variation was available in B1, B2 and B3 boxes, always in size 2.

Strangely, two other major variations were made in B2 sub-type (not B3!). The model appears a bit larger, due to the fact that the shovel is way up and the model is also better centered in the picture. Two major variations exist : with small or larger numbers.

RARITY

The first B1 box may be a little less common for this model than the other boxes. So is the B3 version.
