The Pontiac Grand Prix Coupé, a legendary American sports car, was proud successor of the 22B Vauxhall Cresta at #22. The 22C released first in an E2 box shows the preproduction Pontiac in blue. The end flaps, featuring the NEW MODEL in the very first batch, also shows the model’s suspension in action. A total of four variations came with the blue Pontiac.
The E3 sub type box was the first to display the model in its red/orange color. It was followed by an E4 and E4R box.
In all, a total of 7 different E boxes are therefore available to collectors.
The F box is well worth mentioning, as it is one of the rarest boxes in the whole Regular Range. The “ALP” box has blank end flap closers. Like the late E boxes, the red/orange model is depicted.
The F box is extremely rare among all boxes in the RW range. The NEW MODEL blue E2 box is also less common, as well as the E3 box. However, those two boxes are not hard to find.
