Released in September 1963, the Snow Plough was packaged in a NEW MODEL D2 box. What is special about this box are the model numbers that are smaller than the usual D2 model numbers. Also, the blades are back and white instead of red – orange – and white. The truck is yellow, including the dump. The second box released lost the NEW MODEL and the model numbers nave a more normal shape. Also, the blades are red and white. This box had black/blue as well as blue/blue top/bottom.
The model was then available in E3 box, showing now an orange/white blade. And the truck itself now shows the correct colors of the model: grey cab and orange dump.
All boxes for this model were size 7.
The first NEW MODEL box is probably the less common of all boxes for this model. The E3 is also less common than other E boxes.
