GENERAL INFO

The 13A Bedford Wreck Truck was introduced in 1955. The small gem was released in a B1, size 1 box which is showing a very blurry picture, with the hook reversed, and a red model with dark background. The numbers are small and have the “straight 3”. In the same type and size, a second box, with a slightly bigger model, was made. The hook is this time in the right direction and the whole picture is clear as opposed to the first blurry one and “straight 3” as well. This variation is also available in B2 sub-type.

The third and last box for 13A has a lighter background and the model appears even “clearer”. The hook is also in the right position and the “N” and numbers are larger, while the 3 has a round shape.

RARITY

Difficult to tell which of these boxes is less common. If any, it’s probably the blurry one.
