GENERAL INFO

A larger version of the Land Rover was released in 1959, first in a B3, size 3 box. The drawing, that would have fit a size 2 box, shows the model in red and has background and driver (similar to 12A) and the blue rectangle around the drawing.

The B4 box that follows gets rid of the driver and shows a clearer picture, with lines underneath, with small trees on each side of the model. The latter seems a bit longer. A B5 came after and the background disappeared as well as lines underneath.

The only C box made reprises the B4 illustration. Then came D1 and D2 boxes, with the green model and black wheels.

Each box made was available in size 3.

RARITY

The C box and the B3 box with blue rectangle seem to be less common.
