GENERAL INFO

Repalcing the 7A in March 61, the Ford Anglia made its debut in a C box, showing a red model with yellow wheels and red hubs. The #7 is over the right end of the scroll. The end flaps show “NEW MODEL”. A second C box was made, without the “NEW MODEL” on end flaps and the right number 7 away from the right end of the scroll.

The D boxes for this model are quite interesting. First, a D1 box was made, and it shows the model in a darker but nice blue color with grey wheel and the typical sans serifs #7. Another D1 box immediately followed but had a small #7 with serifs and black wheels.

The first D2 box came back with the darker blue, grey wheel version, but of course with numbers with serifs. Finally, a second D2 box was made showing the pale blue version and black wheels, with the #7 with serifs.

The model never made it to the E type boxes as it was replaced by the Ford Refuse Truck (7C).

Each box for the 7B is size 3.

RARITY

The NEW MODEL C Box is probably the harder to find box for this model. Of the four different D boxes, the D1 with #7 without serifs is the less common.
