GENERAL INFO

The Horse Drawn Milk Float is one of those models for which so many different early boxes were made. It’s the last model to have been released in a type A box, which features a very dark background. The float seems a bit higher than some of the subsequent B boxes. It was soon replaced with a B1 box with somewhat smaller numbers, paler background and horse, and yellow wheels. The same numbers will be used on the 3rd variation, but the background is darker. This 3rd variation is also the first of four different B2 boxes. The second B2 box has a smaller model and thin spoked wheels and small numbers. The third B2 box has a large model shown and also larger numbers, and the wheels are back in yellow with a dot in the middle, with a light background. The last B2 box has thin black tires and no dots on wheels. Numbers are a bit smaller.

The only B3 box has the last B2 drawing in size 2, so the blue rectangle is present. It was followed by a picture that would be used for both B4 and B5 sizes. The background is only a dark horizontal line and the drawing is very similar to the B3 one. The numbers are away from the model. The last B5 is identical, except for the numbers that are now closer to the scroll.

RARITY

Considering the number of different boxes, it is again quite difficult to identify a harder to find one. The size 3 boxes are a bit less common.
