GENERAL INFO

The 6B Quarry Truck is certainly one fun model when it comes to collect boxes. Several different drawings of it exist in the B and C styles. The very first uses a small size drawing fitted on a size 3 box, this the blue rectangle, and show a very small illustration of the model with a background. The sub type is B3. Then a slightly longer model was used, fitting the size 3, B4 box. It was soon replaced by a first B5 box, showing a larger model, still using a drawing that doesn’t really look like the actual model. The second B5 box would take care of that, depicting more accurately 6B. Finally, a third B5 box (the 5th different B style box!) shows the model similar to the previous box, but with some minor changes to the front of it, including the grille. That same illustration would be used for the two C boxes later released, but one variation has lines underneath while the other does not.

D1 and D2 boxes were released for this model as well, showing the model in yellow with the advert on the door.

RARITY

It’s rather difficult to tell which of the B and C boxes is less common. However, the D2 box seems hard to find.
