After four different releases of road rollers, Lesney broke the series and introduced the Mercedes Truck, a turquoise lorry with an orange canopy. This model was depicted on the E4 box it came in in August 1967. The first variation had the NEW MODEL on end flaps while the second version did not. An E4R box came after. All those E boxes were size 7 and all had the “Light Blue / Light Blue” Top/Bottom color scheme.
There were three F2 boxes made. The first “ALP” one had “TM” on end flap closers, while the second one did not have any writing on them. An “MIR1” box was later made, still with blank end flap closers.
F boxes were size 6.
Boxes for the 1E model are all very common. The “MIR1” F2 box is probably the less common of all boxes for this truck.
