GENERAL INFO

From a box perspective, the 15A MERRYWEATHER FIRE ENGINE is the most interesting model of all the King Size range with six different variations, including 4 major ones. It was first packaged in 1964 in an E2 box where we can see the truck in motion, with another one fighting a blaze.

Then, no less than 5 different F boxes were made. The F2 ones are particularly interesting, as the inside panel can be found in three different designs. The first has only flames, while the second one shows a large fire i9n an industrial site. The third and last one shows a large blaze in a fuel tank.

An F4 box followed, as well as an F5 one. Both have a hang tag showing to trucks and firemen, with the same back as F2 boxes, but with a wider and more detailed picture.

RARITY

Although hard to tell for sure, the F2 box with fuel tanks on fire may be a little less common.
