GENERAL INFO
No less than six different boxes exist for the 13A Foden Concrete Truck. It all began with a D box showing the model with metal hubs, and no NEW MODEL on the end flaps. Two different E boxes would follow (E1 and E3) on which the model with “Readymix” label on barrel and still metal hubs appears, with an extra rear view.
Two F2 boxes were then made: one with “Readymix” on back and the other with “RMC” on the barrel. This difference is even visible on the end flaps as well. The insert panel shows a port scene.
Finally, an F5 box was done, with RMC on the barrel. The hang tag shows two models, including one being loaded with concrete. The building in the background on the back of the box is lightly different in this late box.
RARITY
The E3 box is less common. The F5 may be a little less common than other F boxes for this model.
