The 12A Foden Breakdown Truck was released in 1963. Although new at the time, its first box, a D type package, does not have the mention NEW MODEL, or at least no such box is known to exist. It was then available in E1 and E3 boxes, where the model is shown towing a small Commer red van.
There are two minor variations of an F2 box: the first has the inside panel showing an accident involving a blue lorry, while the other occurs in a residential area with an orange truck.
The E3 box is less common. It is hard to determine if one of the F2 boxes is scarcer than the other one.
