GENERAL INFO

The 8A was released in 1962 and was available in two different D box versions. The first shows the model, with silver metal wheels, with a tall white label on the cab door and short LAING label on the trailer. The second version has the cab door label shorter, and a long yellow label on the trailer where “CIVIL ENGINEERING CONTRACTORS” was also added. The LAING on the rear part of the cab is less bold.

The E box displays the model on a construction site, where the tractor is disembarking from the trailer.

RARITY

Hard to say from which of the two D boxes is rarer, but the second version seems a bit less common. The E box is overall the less easy to come by.
